An independent editorial project
World Peace Net is run by a small team of writers and researchers with backgrounds in international relations, mediation and humanitarian work. We are not affiliated with any government, intergovernmental body, political party, religion or NGO.
Our editorial line
We are interested in what actually reduces violence and rebuilds trust. We try to be honest about failures: many peace processes collapse, many ceasefires fail, many initiatives are well-intentioned but ineffective. Pretending otherwise does no one any good.
What we don't do
We do not run sponsored content. We do not endorse political candidates or parties. We do not take sides in active conflicts beyond what international humanitarian law requires (protection of civilians, accountability for atrocities).
How we work
Every article is fact-checked against at least two independent sources. We name our sources. We correct errors publicly, with a dated note at the bottom of the article. We welcome rebuttals.
Editorial principle
Each article is fact-checked against at least two independent sources. We name our sources. We correct errors publicly, with a dated note at the bottom of the article. We welcome rebuttals, and we will publish substantive ones.
